The exquisite Moonrise Shawl by Olga Buraya-Kefelianshawl is knit using short-rows with 2 strands of yarn held together (e.g. Habu Silk Stainless Steel + Habu Bamboo). From the designer: “Once you complete the knitting, the stitches are dropped in strategic places to create “ladders” that transform this shawl into a larger canvas and add dimension to the surface, while letting through light to create this ethereal-looking accessory.”  A beautiful opportunity to experiment with interesting metal-containing yarns from Habu Textiles paired with silk, merino, or alpaca lace weight yarns. Structure + softness for a striking architectural feel!
