Different Breeze by Sachiko Uemura is a beautiful summer scarf knitted widthwise in a simple 4-row lace pattern. The pattern calls for fingering-weight yarn but, really, any weight yarn and corresponding needle-size will work. We think this would be gorgeous in SeaSilk or MiniMaiden from Handmaiden Fine Yarns, Red Label from Tanis Fiber Arts. For a more casual look why not try Sparrow from Quince & Co. or Firefly from Classic Elite Yarns. A light and breezy scarf perfect for summer accessorizing!

First came to mind was linen. I knitted a lace scarf shop sample using Sparrow when it first introduced. It’s fabulous! What an elegant design to pair with. Any Handmaiden line would be to die for. ❤ it.
