I blogged the fledgling beginning of this scarf /shawl a few weeks ago when our fall order of Mille Colori Baby arrived and finally cast off my version of Drachenschwanz this weekend. It really didn’t take long to knit but a few distractions along the way delayed progress… you know how that goes. These photos were taken just after a good steaming and I think they give an impression of the beautiful drape and texture of the finished piece. The simple pattern turned out to be just as mesmerizing to knit as expected with the colour changes coming faster and faster as the shawl grew in width. The overall effect is bright and beautiful and will provide a much needed visual pick-me-up through the grey days of winter.
Sixteen Mille Colori Baby colourways currently in stock.
