Less is More
A simple, asymmetrical, sideways knit shawl just perfect for a lovely hand-dyed fingering weight yarn. We contemplated changing the moss stitch sections to garter but are so glad we didn’t. The moss stitch provides a more subtle texture which gives the fabric a beautiful sophistication and drape. As hoped, Freia’s new Refined Fingering Merino Silk yarn is a dream to knit with – incredibly soft with just the right amount of structure (18 colourways in stock).
A quick and cozy cowl with a strong sense of style! A very simple, knit-in-the-round pattern with a dramatic two-tone effect. We chose to knit this up with two skeins of A.S.A.P. – a luscious new single-ply merino from Madelinetosh – and are very happy with the soft, lofty fabric. Can be worn alone or, for a closer fit, with a shawl stick or pin. We opted for a black leather closure from Jul Silver for some added “edge”.
We currently have a wide selection of Jul Silver closures and 38 colours of A.S.A.P. in stock!
