Free pattern Friday: Traverso Due

(Project photos: Ilsebill309)

Traverso Due by Regina Moessmer is a gorgeous, wide scarf / shawl that’s a breeze to knit and will lend casual yet sophisticated style to all your outfits! Alternating diagonal panels of loosely knit stockinette and reverse stockinette provide luscious texture which will work well with just about any lighter weight yarn choice. The suggested gauge is 17sts with two laceweight yarns held together. You could also opt to knit this with fingering or sport weight, or like the version below, use a heavier mohair blend for a larger version.  I’m leaning towards Shibui Pebble stranded with Silk Cloud, Isager Tvinni stranded with Rowan Kidsilk Haze, or Drops Alpaca Silk. Decisions, decisions!

Love this scarf it’s exactly what I’ve been needing. The Ravelry pattern doesn’t give the yardage, which I think is critical. Can you please give those details? Thanks so much! As usual, your interpretation is the best!
