Free pattern Friday (on Saturday): Sunburnt

Yesterday was Tristan’s last day of school before the holiday and it was early dismissal and then, of course, there was the Star Wars movie and tree decorating! Things got away from me 🙂
Here’s your Free Pattern Friday – a day late…

SUNBURNT by Nidhi Kansal

Sunburnt by Nidhi Kansal is just so pretty!  Knit with 100% alpaca this light crescent-shaped shawlette also looks cozy and warm.  The pattern calls for 2 skeins of Drops Alpaca which makes this an incredibly economical little accessory. Win-Win!

Knit from the bottom-up, things just get faster as you go. Directions are written out and charted.

Wouldn’t the pattern and accompanying yarn for this project make a great gift for a lucky knitter on your list?

Shop for Drops Alpaca.

Having trouble working the pattern row. Could I get some help? Could you write out the pattern row . I have marked every 17, stitches thinking this would help. Looking for any help you might be able to assist with.

      Hello Joanne,

Sorry to hear that you have trouble with this pattern. Since it is not ours but a free pattern we liked and found on ravelry, I had to have a closer look at it and below the charts the lace is written out.

As far as I can tell you should place a marker after each 16 sts, the repeat in the written pattern is marked by * . Whenever you are ready to start at * again, you place a marker.

That should help you keep track.

      All the best for 2017,
      Mona
