Don’t forget, our OM SHAWL KAL begins this Thursday!

We posted about our upcoming OM SHAWL KAL a couple of weeks ago. You can find more information on the original post HERE. See the essentials below 🙂

We will be running our Om Shawl Knit-Along as both an in-store and virtual event (through Ravelry) beginning this Thursday, January 26th. If you are able to join us in the shop, we will meet for 4 consecutive Thursdays – January 26, February 2, 9, and 16 – from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. No need to register (this is a free activity), simply come in on those dates ready to cast on and knit the Om Shawl among friends.

We have now opened an Om Shawl KAL “Introductions & Chatter” thread in our Ravelry group HERE. We invite you to join us there (even if you are knitting with us in-store) to indicate your intention to participate and to chatter and share photos of works in progress.

If you complete your Om Shawl by March 2nd and upload your photo to the finished object thread for this knit-along in our Ravelry group, you will have a chance to win an Espace Tricot Eco Tote and a Woolstok 21-Colour Slouch Kit! The winner will be chosen via random number generator from the finished object thread (one entry per person only please).

We hope you’ll join us!

The Om Shawl can be purchased and downloaded from Ravelry HERE.

We used Blue Sky Fibres Woolstok yarn for our version.
Click here to see our project details on Ravelry.

SHOP Woolstok in our webstore (Note: Select colours also available in 150g skeins.)
Don’t see the colour you need? New stock will be arriving soon!

And, by the way, even though we love Woolstok yarn for this wrap, any worsted to aran yarn will work depending on the weight, drape, and colour story you’re looking for.

Hi there! I used your sample as inspiration for a pillow cover for my daughter, purchased the yarn at ET last fall… She was really pleased! I’m too far away for the KAL but hope it’s fun. Beverley

      Hello Beverley,

Since you are not alone in being too far away, we also host the KAL on ravelry – if you feel like it.

Glad your daughter liked what you made – that’s what’s most important!

      Best,
      Mona
