New store sample: Scarfy Thing

The Scarfy Thing is quite possibly one of the most fun projects you’ll knit this year! This recipe by Beata Jezek gives enough detail to get you started and keep you on track yet offers enough flexibility to add your own stamp.  Lisa used Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles and chose a single colour as the base yarn and five contrasting colourways for pops of colour throughout. She finished the whole thing with a deeper speckled neutral for the i-cord edge.  The scarf can be made as long or as wide as you wish, simply study the structure before you begin to understand which sections will define your width and length.  And, note, this is a great stash-busting project. No need to purchase 7 new skeins (unless you want to!) – fingering weight minis and leftovers can be easily integrated as you like.
