Mona just finished knitting up a new store sample for us. Zuzu’s Petals by Carina Spencer has “all the style of a shawlette without the fuss of trying to keep it around your neck!” The pattern includes written and charted instructions for two gauges – worsted and sport-weight yarn. The little beauty above is the sport weight version knit with Madelinetosh Pashmina in the Grasshopper colourway. We love this piece for light layering and a pretty way to frame the face. Although it might be a little nerve-racking to try, if you’re sure to check your gauge, it is possible to get two of these cowls from one skein.
